What: Vacation Bible School 2026: Illumination Station
Where: First Chinese Baptist Church of San Antonio
When: June 8-12, 6:00-8:00 P.M.

Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is: At Illumination Station VBS, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus' important question to His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world. Jesus spoke to them again: "I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life." John 8:12 

STUDENT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration Deadline: May 17

Who: Entering Pre-K* - Finishing 5th Grade

*Pre-K students must be 4 years old by September 1, 2026 and fully potty trained (no diapers/pullups; able to communicate restroom need, semi-independent in restroom). Pre-K parent/guardian may be required to remain on campus at the discretion of the lead teacher. 

What to bring/wear: 

• Wear comfortable clothing and closed toe sneakers
• Bring a filled water bottle LABELED with your child's name (water provided if forgotten).
• If needed apply insect repellent and sun screen before check-in (volunteers will not apply for students) 

What not to bring: toys, electronics, candy, food (snacks provided).

We provide VBS t-shirts to students while supplies last. Register your student by May 17 to guarantee their VBS t-shirt. Donations for the cost of the t-shirt are welcome!

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Volunteer Registration Deadline: May 3rd

Volunteer Requirements: 

• Must regularly attend FCBCSA, and have attended for at least the past 6 months.
• Must pass background check if over 18
• Mandatory VBS volunteer training will be held on May 17. If unable to attend, please email duojiaq@gmail.com.
